material & craftmanship
All snö ornaments are laser-cut with precision in FSC-certified linen plywood. This material is chosen for its fine surface, warm natural grain, and durability.
The plywood is sourced from responsibly managed forests, ensuring that every piece carries not only a timeless design but also a sustainable origin.
The laser-cutting process allows for sharp, detailed geometries that highlight the collection’s architectural inspiration while maintaining the organic feel of natural wood.

Meet the Founder
Architect and designer Frederik Ankjaer Normann Pedersen is the creative mind behind nordic snö a sculptural collection inspired by the quiet poetry of the Nordic landscape.
Drawing from his field studies across the North, Frederik begins each design by hand where he is sketching natural forms directly in the landscape before refining them through digital precision.
Snow, wood, and light become guiding elements in a creative process that bridges the tactile with the technological. The final forms are laser-cut from carefully selected wood, their geometry capturing the purity and balance found in nature.
After training as an architect, Frederik’s work has evolved into a personal exploration of how human presence can reconnect with the stillness of nature.
Each piece in the nordic snö collection reflects his fascination with structure and serenity. Objects are designed to bring a sense of calm, grounding, and timeless beauty into contemporary spaces.
Believing that authenticity arises through process, Frederik moves seamlessly between sketch, digital model, and material, where he is always seeking the point where proportion, atmosphere, and emotion align.
