These Terms & Conditions apply to purchases made through nordicsno.com.

By placing an order, you agree to the terms applicable to your purchase as set out below.

2. PRODUCTS

Nordic SNÖ creates design objects and accessories inspired by Nordic natural phenomena.

We make reasonable efforts to display products, materials, dimensions and colours accurately. However, colours may appear differently depending on your screen and device.

Products made from natural materials may show variations in colour, grain, texture and appearance. Such natural variation is part of the character of the material and is not necessarily considered a defect.

Product dimensions may be subject to minor manufacturing tolerances.

3. PRICES

Prices displayed on nordicsno.com are shown in the currency indicated on the website and include applicable Danish VAT where required, unless otherwise stated.

Shipping charges and any other applicable costs will be displayed before you complete your purchase.

For international orders, customers outside the relevant customs territory may be responsible for local customs duties, import VAT, taxes or handling charges imposed by local authorities or carriers, unless otherwise explicitly stated at checkout.

4. ORDERS AND CHECKOUT

Products can be ordered through nordicsno.com using the checkout functionality provided through our e-commerce platform.

Before completing your order, you will have the opportunity to review the products selected, quantities, delivery information and total price.

An order is submitted when you complete the checkout process. After submitting an order, you will normally receive an electronic order confirmation at the email address provided during checkout.

Please ensure that your contact, billing and delivery information is correct before submitting your order.

Nordic SNÖ reserves the right to cancel an order in exceptional circumstances, including obvious pricing errors, inability to fulfil the order, suspected fraud or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. If payment has already been collected for a cancelled order, the relevant amount will be refunded.

5. PAYMENT

Available payment methods are displayed during checkout.

Our online store is operated using Squarespace Commerce, and payments are processed through the payment provider or payment method presented to you at checkout.

Payment information is processed securely by the relevant payment provider. Nordic SNÖ does not necessarily receive or store your complete payment card information.

Any applicable shipping charges and other costs will be displayed before you complete your purchase.

Payment will be charged in accordance with applicable Danish consumer and payment rules.

Your bank or payment provider may apply separate conditions, exchange rates or fees.

6. DELIVERY

Available delivery methods, estimated delivery times and shipping prices are displayed during checkout where applicable.

Delivery estimates are indicative unless a specific delivery date has expressly been agreed.

Nordic SNÖ is not responsible for delays caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, but your mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

Please ensure that the delivery information supplied with your order is correct.

If a parcel is returned because incorrect delivery information was provided or because it was not collected, additional shipping costs may apply where permitted by law.

7. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

If you are a consumer purchasing online within Denmark or the European Union, you generally have a statutory right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving a reason.

For goods, the withdrawal period generally runs for 14 days from the day you, or a person designated by you other than the carrier, receives the goods.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must clearly inform Nordic SNÖ of your decision before the withdrawal period expires.

After notifying us that you wish to withdraw, you must return the goods within the applicable statutory return period.

8. RETURNS

Unless otherwise required by law or agreed with Nordic SNÖ, you are responsible for the direct cost of returning products when exercising your right of withdrawal.

Please package returned products appropriately.

You are responsible for any diminished value resulting from handling the product beyond what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning.

We recommend using a traceable shipping method, as you are responsible for the returned goods during return transport to the extent provided by applicable law.

Contact hello@nordicsno.com before returning an order so that we can provide the appropriate return information.

9. REFUNDS

When you validly exercise your statutory right of withdrawal, we will refund payments as required by applicable consumer law, including the cost of standard outbound delivery where legally required.

Additional costs resulting from choosing a more expensive delivery method than our least expensive standard delivery option are not necessarily refundable.

Refunds will normally be made using the same payment method used for the original purchase unless otherwise agreed.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the returned goods or you have supplied evidence of having returned them, where permitted by law.

10. EXCEPTIONS TO THE RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

The statutory right of withdrawal may not apply to certain products where an exception under applicable consumer law applies.

This may include goods made to the customer’s specifications or clearly personalised for the customer.

Where an item is excluded from the statutory right of withdrawal, this will be communicated where required.

11. DAMAGED, DEFECTIVE OR INCORRECT PRODUCTS

If your order arrives damaged, defective or incorrect, please contact us at hello@nordicsno.com as soon as reasonably possible.

Please include your order information and, where useful, photographs showing the issue.

Your statutory rights concerning defective goods are separate from your right of withdrawal and are not limited by these Terms & Conditions.

12. TWO-YEAR RIGHT OF COMPLAINT

For consumer purchases, Nordic SNÖ provides the statutory two-year right of complaint (reklamationsret) in accordance with the Danish Sale of Goods Act (Købeloven).

The right of complaint applies to defects or lack of conformity that were present, or where the cause of the defect was present, when the product was delivered.

If a product is defective or does not conform to the purchase agreement, you may, depending on the circumstances and applicable law, be entitled to have the product repaired or replaced, receive an appropriate reduction in price, or terminate the purchase and receive a refund.

You must notify Nordic SNÖ within a reasonable time after discovering a defect. If you notify us within two months of discovering the defect, the complaint will always be considered to have been made within a reasonable time.

The right of complaint does not cover damage or deterioration caused by improper use, accidents, external damage, lack of reasonable care or ordinary wear and tear where these circumstances do not constitute a defect under applicable law.

For products made from natural materials, natural variations in colour, grain, texture and appearance are part of the individual character of the material and do not in themselves constitute a defect.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits your mandatory rights under Danish or applicable EU consumer law.

13. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Unless otherwise stated, the Nordic SNÖ name, brand identity, product designs, photographs, graphics, text and other original content presented on nordicsno.com are owned by Nordic SNÖ or used with permission.

Content from the website may not be commercially reproduced, copied, distributed or exploited without permission except where permitted by applicable law.

Purchase of a Nordic SNÖ product does not transfer intellectual-property rights in the product design or brand.

14. PRIVACY AND COOKIES

Personal information relating to your use of nordicsno.com and purchases from Nordic SNÖ is processed in accordance with our Privacy & Cookie Policy and applicable data-protection legislation.

Our website uses necessary cookies and may, with your consent where required, use analytics, performance or other optional cookies.

You can manage your preferences through Cookie Settings on nordicsno.com.

15. WEBSITE PLATFORM

Nordicsno.com is hosted and operated using Squarespace.

While we take reasonable steps to maintain the availability and accuracy of our website, temporary interruptions may occur as a result of maintenance, technical issues or circumstances outside Nordic SNÖ’s reasonable control.

Nothing in this section limits any mandatory rights you have under applicable consumer law.

16. LIABILITY

Nordic SNÖ is responsible in accordance with applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or restricts liability where such exclusion or restriction would be prohibited by mandatory consumer law.

Nordic SNÖ is not responsible for losses resulting from improper use of products or circumstances for which Nordic SNÖ is not legally responsible.

17. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms & Conditions and purchases from Nordic SNÖ are governed by Danish law, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply to consumers residing in other countries.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions deprives a consumer of mandatory rights available under applicable law.

18. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

Nordic SNÖ may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.

The terms applicable to an individual purchase are those in effect when the purchase is made, unless otherwise required by law.

The latest version will be available on nordicsno.com.
